Anti-Jigger Campaign
Last year 2024 it came to our attention that jigger-causing flea has been a Plague that has been an annoyance especially to our children. Through Education, Hygiene, Treatment, Environmental management and Community involvement, we can totally eliminate this threat for the sake of our children and younger generation.
Our Impact
We had our first anti-jigger campaign conducted by Balcurt Medical Center in Bungoma County, in which over 400 children were successfully treated, which were badly affected by jigger. Our jigger eradication program has greatly improved students wellbeing, but the issue persists due to lack of clean water.
Current Focus
Our immediate focus is to provide clean water, reducing jigger infestations, improving health and supporting education. Water scarcity affects everyone in our community - both rich and poor.
